Fairley Leadership Program Sponsorship 2025

APPLICATIONS CLOSE: THURSDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2023 AT 4PM. 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- Please note this application form is for sponsorship ONLY and a separate application needs to be made through Goulburn Murray Community Leadership to participate in the program - https://www.goulburnmurraycommunityleadership.com.au/fairley-leadership-program 

- Applicants will need to be successful in getting into the Fairley Leadership Program through Goulburn Murray Community Leadership to be eligible to receive any sponsorship funding. 

PROCESS:

This application form has been designed to align with the Goulburn Murray Community Leadership Programs application form. The process is as follows:

- Applicant must first apply for the Fairley Leadership Program through Goulburn Murray Community Leadership Program.

- Applicant can utilise information submitted in the above application form and will be required to submit a copy of this application form as part of this application to apply for Moira Shire Councils Fairley Leadership Program Sponsorship. 

-  Following notification for the Fairley Leadership Program, Moira Shire Council will notify applicants of outcome - noting that only successful candidates of the Fairley Leadership Program will be eligible for sponsorship. 

GUIDELINES:

- All applications must comply with the Fairley Leadership Program Eligibility and Expectations, which can be found at https://www.goulburnmurraycommunityleadership.com.au/fairley-leadership-program 

- The sponsorship amount available (this does not include incidental costs incurred by the participant) will be determined as applicable to the applicant's situation. 

- Applicants will be required to specify the amount of sponsorship requested. 

- Applicants may be required to take part in a short interview or contacted informally to confirm details provided throughout the application. 

- All applications are subject to a confidential evaluation. 

- All applications will be assessed on relative merit based on the information provided in the application. The applications needs to demonstrate community participation and leadership activities specifically relating to the Moira municipality. 

- All applications must be submitted by the closing dates via the SmartyGrants platform. 

- All applicants will be notified of the outcome once applications for the Fairley Leadership Program have been assessed by Goulburn Murray Community Leadership.

- Please note: your application for sponsorship may be discussed with the Fairley Leadership Program Facilitators.
