Moira Community Achiever Awards program
Moira Shire Council recognizes the achievements of individuals and groups and the exceptional contribution, hard work and determination within the community who inspire us all - they are the Stars of our community who go above and beyond - that extra mile.
The following section outlines the selection criteria for each category. Please ensure to respond to each of the relevant criteria in your submission, which will go before the selection panel. The most outstanding achiever will be chosen for each category by a judging panel within the category nominated.
Nominations close on 16 March 2025.
Important Information
- A Nomination Form is required for each Nominee – only one application will be accepted for an individual or a group within this awards program.
- The judging panel reserves the right to move nominations to a category they deem to be more appropriate and in the instance of only one nomination being received it may be rolled over into the next year’s process.
- The final decision of Moira Shire Community Achiever Awards process is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Unsuccessful nominees may be re-nominated in subsequent years.
- Please note all nominees and their guests will be invited to attend an Awards celebration in April.
- Nominations from the Australia Day District Town Award program are encouraged to resubmit an application for consideration into the equivalent award category in the Community Achievers Awards program .
